Calcium Carbonate (Chalk)

Pure calcium carbonate for adding to dye baths. Use with madder and yellow dyes for richer color, especially when working with soft water or when greater mineral content is required.

Can increase the vibrancy of yellows from most flowers.

Use with madder to achieve a deeper red.

Just a pinch will do! Add to the dye bath after extracting plants. Can also be added to an afterbath when needed.
