Hand Printed Naturally Dyed Fabrics

An incredibly rare find... these fabrics are hand printed with hand carved wooden blocks *and* printed with all natural dyes. While block printing still thrives in Rajasthan, most shops have started using synthetic dyes to increase production. These designs were inspired by traditional textiles from Rajasthan, and created by the team at WabiSabi studio in Bagru, India using entirely natural and historic processes and ingredients.

Dyes used include organic indigo, harda, madder, pomegranate, and others. Handwash gently with cool water and very mild soap; hang to dry in shade. 100% Indian grown cotton.

This product is entirely hand-printed with wooden blocks and natural dyes, so there may be imperfections and variations within the fabrics. Keep reading for description of fabric weights.

Triangle -and- Birds: a lightweight voile, excellent for light summery or soft items. Consider using a backing or quilting for heavier drape or applications.

Blue -and- Red Flower: a heavyweight cotton, not a canvas, but more sturdy than a quilting cotton. Good for shorts, jackets, pillows, totes, and other heavier applications.
